Blondie

BLONDIE is the cutest little Haflinger mare you ever hoped to meet! She is 12 years old and stands about 14HH. She’s very sweet and very friendly.

She was rescued from a terrible kill lot in Bastrop, Louisiana. At the time of her rescue, she had 4 auction tags stuck on her body! She had been run through that many auctions and ultimately ending up on the kill lot. 

Blondie is blind in one eye.  When she was rescued by WindyHill, she had no doubt been tossed around auction to auction because she had cancer in her right eye and no one wanted her. After she was rescued, we immediately took her in for the diagnosis and the subsequent surgery. She is a very sweet mare and is currently in training. Someday maybe she can give someone special her heart and soul.
