JACIE is a AQHA registered sorrel mare that is 21 years old and was rescued from an Oklahoma Kill lot in June 2022. 

She is a granddaughter of Dash for Cash. She was formally only a broodmare and has no additional training but is a very sweet mare and easy to handle. 

We learned that she was sent to auction because of her age (after 20 years of service)but that she could be in foal.  Sure enough, she foaled on April 9, 2023, and had a beautiful colt that is identical to her, and we named him Cadbury, because he was born on Easter morning.

Jacie is retired here at WindyHill and no doubt has earned it after having babies for 21 years. She did not earn it by us but by the ranch that used her for 20 years, but we are honored to give her the soft landing that she deserves. She would be available only as a companion horse to the right home.
